Our Aims
In 2009 we formed the Caecilia-Concert Foundation with friend and associate, Mark Harvey. The aim of this charitable organisation is to enable the research, discovery and promotion by performance and recording of otherwise unknown music from the 15th- to 18th- century.
The library research necessary to explore collections of works which were gathered hundreds of years ago takes much time, money, and frequently international correspondence and travel. Although many gems have already been resurrected and are today well known concert repertoire, there are still many works by important composers which remain unknown due to lack of research, editing, or performance resources.
How You Can Help
The Caecilia-Concert Foundation enables financial contributions to be made towards this pioneering work that the core members of the Caecilia-Concert continue to undertake. Contributions can be made by contacting Wouter Verschuren. Any amount really helps us to continue to bring interesting concert programmes and recordings to fruition.
Become a Friend of the Caecilia-Concert Foundation for just €50 per year and receive a free CD!
Your Role as a Friend,
Having made a contribution, you of course have the option to remain one-hundred percent anonymous. However, we do like to acknowledge our supporters in our CD booklets and any concert materials made possible by the Foundation. It will also be possible for you to attend certain rehearsals to see how we put programmes together and meet the players.
